EarthCheck is the world’s leading scientific benchmarking certification and advisory group for sustainable travel and tourism. The Brisbane-based company’s high-profile clients range from some of the world’s leading hotel chains and tourism experiences, to entire cities, regions and destinations.

Celebrating sustainability stories

Our team was tasked with creating a collection of engaging and entertaining digital case studies that highlight the positive impact of EarthCheck’s environmental certification, benchmarking, and advisory programs. The goal was to showcase the strong relationships between EarthCheck and its clients and demonstrate that what’s good for the planet can also be good for business.

Collaborating with EarthCheck, we identified key messages, developed storylines, and executed case studies with an emphasis on client achievements and captivating content.

Global reach, local stories

The case studies featured diverse locations, from Queensland to Dubai, Ireland, and Scotland. To create a sustainable and value-driven approach that emphasised the importance of each story, we enlisted local freelancers worldwide. We provided them with visual directions for the videos. Simultaneously, we interviewed the EarthCheck team at their HQ in Brisbane.

We combined the high-quality footage captured by freelancers with destination footage to craft engaging narratives for each case study. Post-production elements ensured a visually cohesive case study series.

Showcasing sustainability success

The videos and accompanying written case studies were published on EarthCheck’s website and social media platforms. These materials showcased EarthCheck’s core competencies and illustrated how their sustainability initiatives have helped clients generate business value, enhance performance, and encourage innovation.

The case studies revealed that sustainability is not a one-time accomplishment. Instead, it is a continuous commitment that positively influences every aspect of a business or destination. The case studies inspire others to incorporate sustainability into their operations and enjoy the resulting benefits.
