Positive energy: Promoting a new generation in renewable energy maintenance services
Stanwell Asset Maintenance Company (SAMCo), a subsidiary of Stanwell Corporation, collaborated with The Content Division to build a new website and position the new company as a credible partner in the renewable energy sector.
Stanwell Asset Maintenance Company (SAMCo), a subsidiary of Queensland’s leading energy producer, Stanwell Corporation, was established in 2023 to serve as a vital player in maintaining and enhancing the productivity of renewable energy assets.
With a broad service scope covering wind and solar farms, grid-scale batteries, hydrogen production plants, pumped hydro storage, and clean energy hubs, SAMCo is in a prime position to become a preeminent partner in the renewable energy maintenance sector.
As Queensland accelerates its transition to renewable energy, SAMCo’s role is set to expand rapidly.
Powering up
As a newly formed service provider in a competitive and rapidly growing market, SAMCo needed to establish a strong digital presence to communicate its unique selling proposition (USP), capabilities and mission to potential partners and customers.
Additionally, the company sought to attract potential employees (and pique the interest of existing employees at Stanwell’s traditional power stations), to help build the renewable energy workforce of the future. To achieve these goals, SAMCo required a new digital home, as well as supporting content and communications materials.
A spark of inspiration
The Content Division collaborated closely with SAMCo to create a website that would serve as a showcase for the evolving organisation. The website was designed with the organisation’s mission at its heart, ensuring that every element – from the layout to the content – reflected SAMCo’s commitment to enhancing renewable energy productivity.
We worked with the client to establish the information architecture, paying particular attention to scalability, with the future growth of the organisation in mind, as well as the user experience and interface design, and developed compelling copy that clearly communicated the company’s services and mission.
We also helped to produce strategic videos highlighting SAMCo’s credentials; the benefits of SAMCo’s services; and an employee-focused video emphasising the company’s growth trajectory and commitment to staff development.
Applying SAMCo’s newly developed brand, we extended our support to include the development of additional key strategic materials, such as the organisation’s Capability Statement – a detailed document showcasing SAMCo’s expertise, services, and value proposition, used in business development efforts.
The website and supporting content was produced on WordPress, offering flexibility in design and ensuring a user-friendly backend for SAMCo’s internal team. SEO was integrated into the project from the outset, with attention given to page copy, titles, metadata, and a content strategy aimed at driving relevant traffic to the site.
With the new website live, we also worked with the team to get their message in front of the right people, developing and publishing ongoing blog articles on the site and assisting with the brand’s ongoing social media communications (paid and organic).
This strategic approach ensured that SAMCo’s website quickly gained visibility among its target audience, setting the foundation for sustained digital growth.
Fully charged
The launch of SAMCo’s new website and initial content development has positioned the company as a credible and compelling player in the renewable energy maintenance sector.
The website’s intuitive design and mission-driven content have successfully communicated SAMCo’s value to both potential customers and future employees.
Early SEO and social media marketing efforts have begun to show results, with increased traffic and engagement from the right audiences, supporting SAMCo’s growth objectives.
