The Lady Musgrave Trust is Queensland's oldest charity and a champion for homeless women. Armed with a new brand, the Trust needed a website that reflected their new look and that would take them into the future.
The two most important things for any charity website is to showcase the incredible work they do and make it as easy as possible for people to donate when the time is right. And The Lady Musgrave Trust’s new brand gave us plenty of design inspiration to do just that.
As always, we started with research and strategy. Diving deep into the Trust’s website analytics we uncovered the different types of users their website attracted and exactly what they wanted to do when they got there. From this we could design a UX and UI interface that would help them get to their destination as fast as possible.
Putting The Lady Musgrave Trust’s hero piece of content, The Handy Guide for Homeless Women, front and centre alongside the ability to donate with one click means their already quite sizeable website audience could find and access what they were looking for faster.
We added a new donation engine that connected easily with the Trust’s existing finance infrastructure but cut out all of the hassle of the multiple steps the previous website made donors take. People who want to donate now have to click once, enter their details and submit. Super easy stuff.
With addition of a content marketing program that includes email marketing, social media management, video production and live event capture, The Lady Musgrave Trust’s website is seeing more relevant traffic and more donations.
